Knowledge of the 17 basic Laws of Soccer is essential to the understanding and enjoyment of soccer. The FIFA Law Book should be referred to if more detail than Understanding Soccer's explanation is desired. Also, the rules and laws of soccer differ slightly for the NCAA-NiSOA, the HIGH SCOOL FEDERATION and FIFA-USSF.

It is geared more towards Youth Soccer, but it complements the 17 Laws of Soccer outlined in Understanding Soccer. Their explanation of many of the rules are clear and easy to understand. |
